Prince
of Persia: The Crystal Castle Credits
Original
games:
1.)
Jordan Mechner:
He gets the credit first and foremost, of course, for creating the original DOS
games Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia: Shadow and the Flame
to which my game acts as a sequel to.
2.)
Broderbund Software: developed Prince
of Persia: Shadow and the Flame with Jordan Mechner.
Pictures:
1.)
The prince, skeleton, and guard sprites
were created by Broderbund Software. I obtained the sprites for the prince from
the Prince of Persia unofficial website (https://popuw.com/)
and I obtained the sprites for the skeletons and guards from the DOS Shadow
and the Flame game itself.
2.)
The tiled pattern of the mountains back
wall in my game uses a “snip it” from the caves background in the Shadow and
the Flame game.
3.)
I drew/photographed the rest of the
pictures.
Music/Sound
Effects:
1.)
All of the music comes from the DOS Shadow
and the Flame game. I obtained them from the YouTube videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqF5bt2TJyM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFKpVYgBcsw
2.)
I obtained most of the sound effects from
the DOS Shadow and the Flame game. The “picking up a sword” sound effect
though came from the first DOS Prince of Persia game.
3.)
The wind howling and squeaky cork screw
sound effects in my game come from https://www.freesfx.co.uk/. An amazing resource for those
seeking free sound effects to use in their projects.
Special
Thanks
1) I’d
like to thank my dad for teaching me programming when I was young. This project
would never have been a reality without him.
2) I’d
like to thank my brother Eitan for filming my (obviously) Oscar worthy
performance of the evil witch in the game.
Note: I make every attempt to make the above information as complete and accurate as possible. If you find that I omitted something, please contact me indicating what you believe needs correcting.
